Founding Member = Canadian Circular Textiles Consortium
Jonathan Cocker has long been active in textile resource recovery, principally with Fashion Takes Action (FTA) and the Ontario Textile Diversion Collaborative. Recently, 2030 Markets was invited as a founding member of the Canadian Circular Textiles Consortium, a national initiative founded on the belief that, in order to change a system, we must engage the private sector, government and civil society so that we take a multi-stakeholder approach through a collective impact lens. It is using this systems change approach that drives this circular textile initiative – the Canadian Circular Textiles Consortium (CCTC) where 2030 Markets will partner with a variety of stakeholders on a vision and strategy that includes working groups, and that ultimately will benefit all stakeholders who share a vision of a new and “circular” textiles economy for Canada.
